JUDY TANG

A painter

I'm Judy, a painter based in Hong Kong working with paint, memory, and material. Before portraits, I explored fashion. After portraits, I'll be a keeper of gazes.

I paint faces the way others keep diaries—sketching, studying, layering, painting, preserving, and revealing. My work collects quiet histories, capturing the silent stories within a face, one layer, one memory at a time.

My practice extends beyond the canvas into freelance videography and graphic design, where I translate visual narratives into motion and form. I offer creative direction for brands, galleries, and collaborative projects that seek a distinct, emotive perspective—where concept and craftsmanship intersect.
